Halloween is almost here. If you are like me the holidays always sneak up and have us scrambling to finish up our decorations. Well this year we have all seen the DIY ghost going around  Instagram and TikTok. I had these scarecrows from last year and though hmm.. I could give them a makeover. I know what you are thinking, like a costume for the scarecrow? Yup, why not.

Here’s the super quick and easy tutorial:

~I used a 5ft tall scarecrow from Michaels or HomeDepot

~ Plastic Table Cover from Dollar Tree or Walmart

~Witch Hat from Walmart or Amazon

It’s present explanatory which makes it fun and easy craft to do with children.

Before getting started take the plastic table cover and trim off a piece of the width about 1 in to use as a tie around the head. Or you can just get a piece of ribbon, string, jute, really anything you want.

Step 1: Cover the scarecrow with table cover

Step 2: tie around the top head piece with string

Step 3: attach the hat with masking tape

Step 4: Place in ground with attached steak.

Step 5: repeat 2 times to get a cute set of 3 witches. I mean, extremely frightening Halloween Witches.
